One of Israel’s finest and most intriguing ensembles is comprised of two sisters: Eden and Shia-Li Djamchid, who were born and raised in East Talpiot in Jerusalem to parents of Algerian-Moroccan-Persian descent. Shi-Li Djamchid on vocals and guitar, and Eden Djamchid on vocals and cello.

The Balkan-Klezmer ensemble Pulkes with a local-Jerusalem orientation full of groove, an ensemble that grew out of the School of Music and Silence, in a musical production by Eyal Talmudi, will host Yakir Sasson and Elisaf Bashari of Quarter to Africa. Quarter to Africa is a successful Israeli ethno-grove ensemble, one of the busiest and most active ensembles in recent years, that has acquired impressive mileage performing in front of a loving audience and has appeared on almost every possible stage amassed a loyal fan base in Israel and around the world.
