The engraving course is suitable for everyone, no previous experience required
The course will introduce each student to the basic tools of engraving with a lathe
Students will get acquainted with the equipment and related engraving accessories
Students will turn (on the lathe) a different item each lesson
Basic chisel sharpening training will be provided.
Training about the finishings of engravings will be provided.
The course spans 30 hours ten sessions of three hours each
During each session, different topics from the world of engraving are taught, so that a participant who finishes all classes will gain basic knowledge of engraving and can continue to develop independently in the future
In addition to the regular classes, students will be given the opportunity to attend the open workshop that runs for 30 hours a week to continue to gain hands-on experience on the lathe in the workshop. The hours of the open workshop appear on the Muslalla website

Yair Cohen is a carpentry and furniture design course graduate as well as an artistic engraving course graduate from the Ministry of Economy. Yair is a regular operator at the Muslalla workshop on Sundays and teaches private lessons on wood engraving
